About Us

The Mediation Council of Western PA is a consortium of mediators from a wide array of professional backgrounds.  Our memberships is made up of practitioners in fields as diverse as community mediation, business and commercial mediation, workplace mediation, education, bankruptcy, civil litigation, small business and family business disputes, victim/offender mediation, conflict among families over the care of elderly parents and over inheritance issues, and many other areas of interpersonal conflict.

Directory of Mediators

Mediators listed in the Directory are members of the Mediation Council of Western Pennsylvania.  They attest to participation in continuing mediation education and/or peer group, achievement of an advanced degree or equivalent, and completion of training in mediation theory and practice.

Conflict Resolution Day

The MCWP Conflict Resolution Day Award is presented annually in October to recognize a member of the Western Pennsylvania community for their outstanding contributions to the field of mediation.
